Certified Medication Aide

We are seeking a Certified Medication Aide to join our team at Prestige Senior Living - Monticello Park in Longview, WA. As a Certified Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in providing medication services and direct resident care to our residents. Responsibilities- Administer and assist with the self-administration of routine and non-routine medications in accordance with physician orders, state regulations, and the nurse practice act.
- Process physician medication and treatment orders in accordance with state regulations and the nurse practice act.
- Report and record changes in resident condition, incidents, and accidents to the Director of Nursing, physician, and family member as indicated under the direction of the Director of Nursing.
- Routinely communicate with physicians, pharmacies, outside services, residents, and families regarding medication and care services.
- Provide direct resident care while promoting the resident's dignity, independence, and choice, regularly observing residents' physical and mental conditions and reporting changes to the HSD, Expressions Coordinator, or Executive Director.
- High school diploma or GED with one or more years of personal care experience with older adults preferred or as required by state regulations.
- State required medication pass certification or other required certification, complete state required delegation and/or training requirements, and successfully complete the medication pass competency.
- Current CPR certification, First Aid training, and Food Handlers permit as required by state regulations.
- Must complete all state required trainings as necessary.

Full-time and Part-Time (over 20 hours/week) accrue PTO at rate of 0.034/hour during their first year.
