About the Role

Penske is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and supporting our business-critical applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using a range of technologies, including Java, Spring, and React.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements and deliverables.
  • Work closely with senior engineers and technical leads to design and implement software solutions that meet business needs.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including code comments, API documentation, and technical guides.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality code and adherence to coding standards.
  • Identify and troubleshoot software issues, working with cross-functional teams to resolve problems and improve system performance.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our software development processes and tools.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in software development, with a focus on backend development and full-stack engineering.
  • Strong knowledge of Java, Spring, and React, as well as experience with relational databases and cloud-based technologies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
