Russell Tobin & Associates is currently seeking a Floor Planning Analyst for a prominent fabric and crafts retail organization.
Employment Type: Contract/Hybrid
Location: Hudson, OH
Compensation: $32-$36/hr, based on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing planograms to transition seasonal merchandise effectively.
- Supporting existing space and floor planners with JDA-related tasks to enhance POG/Floorplan data and documentation.
- Creating tailored, data-driven JDA floorplans for regular chain updates and category transitions.
- Ensuring the accuracy and feasibility of each overview plan prior to publication for store execution.
- Designing store layouts in accordance with standards, business guidelines, regulatory requirements, and optimal product placement.
- Assisting in the comprehensive processes of space planning, layout design, adjacency considerations, and merchandise listings for JDA store floor plans.
- Preparing floor plans for review and approval by various stakeholders.
- Reviewing and updating existing store survey data.
- Maintaining live floorplans and merchandise listings to reflect any modifications.
- Addressing merchandise program challenges in a timely and effective manner.
- Utilizing JDA's Floor Planning and related tools to enhance procedures impacting floor planning, space planning, and reporting efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in MS Office 365, particularly Excel at an intermediate level.
- 1-2 years of experience with JDA floor planning or similar space planning software, along with a background in merchandising or store design focused on layouts.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
