Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Records Specialist to manage a range of accounting, bookkeeping, and financial responsibilities. This role involves maintaining accurate financial documentation, generating reports, and conducting bank reconciliations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the accounting department with clerical and accounting tasks.
  • Accurately type and maintain financial documents and records.
  • Timely reconciliation of accounts.
  • Input key financial transaction data into the database daily.
  • Support company personnel with accounting inquiries.
  • Investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and documentation issues.
  • Compile reports and summaries for management on various activities.
  • Adhere to established standards, procedures, and relevant regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Required Skills:
  • Familiarity with GAAP principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience with Google Workplace.
  • Demonstrated accounting abilities in Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll Reconciliations, and Account Classifications.
  • Typing speed of 40 wpm and proficiency with ten-key calculators.
  • Ability to operate an automated accounting system.
  • An associate's degree or relevant certification is advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time.
Compensation: $15.00 per hour.
Work Environment: Office setting.
Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday.
