Position Overview:

This role focuses on business development in support of strategic initiatives and is contingent upon project award.

Your responsibilities will include researching and facilitating the processing of both structured and unstructured data to uncover patterns, trends, and correlations. This will aid in entity extraction, disambiguation, visualization, and other data-related support tasks. You will implement enhancements to data extraction processes, entity resolution, pattern identification, link analysis, and other analytical frameworks. Additionally, you will create, modify, and maintain software capabilities that derive insights from data, including information systems, machine learning models, automation, and various software components.

Qualifications:

JOURNEYMAN: A Journeyman level position requires 3 to 10 years of relevant experience and a BA/BS or MA/MS degree. Individuals in this category typically execute all functional responsibilities independently.

SECURITY CLEARANCE: TS/SCI is required.

Physical Requirements: This position necessitates extensive use of computing systems, including PCs or laptops. It may involve prolonged periods of sitting or standing, typing, and reading from screens. Candidates must possess sufficient mobility for tasks such as bending, reaching, and kneeling. Occasional climbing or working in confined spaces may be necessary. The role may also require lifting and transporting equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, as well as walking moderate to long distances due to parking and location constraints. Travel to various sites may be required.

Work Environment: Primarily an office setting, which may include cubicle arrangements (considerations: close quarters, low to moderate noise, varying lighting conditions). The ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and management at all levels is essential. The work environment is generally safe, with limited travel expectations of up to 10%.

Equipment Utilization: Proficiency in operating office equipment such as personal computers, printers, copiers, and telephones is necessary.

Attendance Expectations: Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Regular attendance is crucial for meeting deadlines and attending meetings. Flexibility in work hours may be required to accommodate critical mission needs.

Essential Functions: Professional conduct is expected at all times when interacting with clients, management, and colleagues. Clear and effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are essential. Appropriate grooming and attire are required for the position, ensuring no safety risks to others. Maintaining a positive work environment through professional behavior and communication is vital. Independent transportation to the office or work site is necessary, and travel to client locations may be required. When operating vehicles for work, adherence to safety protocols is mandatory. Candidates must successfully pass a drug test and background check. Demonstrating professional behavior that fosters productivity and teamwork is essential.

The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $116,000, reflecting the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries across all US locations. Individual compensation within this range is determined by factors such as work location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
