Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, you will oversee and direct geotechnical engineering initiatives from the initial phase through to completion, ensuring compliance with safety standards, quality benchmarks, and project timelines. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing specialized knowledge in geotechnical evaluation, design, and execution.
- Acting as a project manager to cultivate strong client relationships and ensure profitable project delivery.
- Collaborating with both internal teams and external partners to optimize project results and enhance departmental performance.
- Mentoring and developing a team of geotechnical engineers, supervising analysis, design, reporting, and site inspections.
- Driving continuous improvement initiatives and efficiency upgrades within projects and departments, aligning with client goals and fostering robust inter-company relationships.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil, Geological, Mining, or Geotechnical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in the field of Geotechnical Engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience in a Project Management capacity, which is advantageous.
- A valid Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Demonstrated business development capabilities.
- The ability to conduct fieldwork and project site assessments as required.
