Job Summary:This part-time Speech Language Pathologist position involves providing rehabilitation services on a flexible schedule of 2-3 days per week, with each day consisting of a few hours. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering high-quality care, collaborating with healthcare teams, and maintaining exceptional documentation standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients within 24 to 48 hours of physician's orders, developing effective treatment plans and implementing them accordingly.
  • Communicate patient progress, problems, and plans with physicians, clinical managers, and other healthcare team members.
  • Participate in Care Conference Meetings and Interdisciplinary Team Meetings, ensuring seamless collaboration and quality care.
  • Conduct in-service training programs for facility staff on restorative and functional maintenance programs, promoting continuous learning and improvement.

Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Mastery of skills in speech-language pathology, as demonstrated by a Master's degree in the field and certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Licensure in the state(s) where services are provided to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
