About This Role

US Foods, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Sales Director to join our team in Sales Leadership. As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and profitability in your designated market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership: Provide virtual leadership to sales staff across the market, utilizing sales leadership to push initiatives and strategies into the field.
  • Sales Administration: Coordinate sales distribution across facilities within the market, establishing and assigning sales territories, quotas, and goals.
  • Expense Control: Manage accounts receivable, direct collection of past-due accounts, and analyze expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements.
  • Education/Training: Ensure that sales employees receive regular training and coaching to improve their performance and business effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in sales or sales management, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
  • Experience working in a functional matrixed environment and virtual leadership across multiple sites.
  • Strong customer orientation, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and high energy, creativity, leadership, and motivational skills.
  • Extensive knowledge of the foodservice industry and profit & loss management, planning, and analysis.

Compensation

The estimated salary range for this role is between $125,000 and $215,000 per year, depending on relevant experience and education. Additionally, this role will receive an annual incentive plan bonus. Benefits may include health insurance, pre-tax spending accounts, retirement benefits, paid time off, short-term and long-term disability, employee stock purchase plan, and life insurance.
