Teaching Opportunity in NYC

Success Academy is seeking a dedicated and passionate educator to join our team of professionals committed to teaching and preparing children from low-income neighborhoods to be self-assured thinkers and leaders. As a teacher in our network of K-12 charter schools, you will play a vital role in giving every student who walks through our doors a fair shot at reaching their potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and technologies to enhance learning.
  • Manage a classroom of 20+ scholars.
Assessment and Evaluation:
  • Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and observations.
  • Provide timely feedback and support to help students improve.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.
Classroom Management:
  • Establish and enforce classroom rules and procedures to maintain a productive learning environment.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree before your first day of work with Success Academy.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for learning and commitment to student development.
  • Ability to work in person in New York City.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
  • A rigorous and relevant academic major.
