As a teacher in our top-performing network of K-12 charter schools, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of the next generation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lesson Planning and Instruction: Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning styles, utilizing a variety of instructional strategies and technologies to enhance learning.
• Assessment and Evaluation: Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and observations, providing timely feedback and support to help students improve, and maintaining accurate records of student performance and progress.
• Classroom Management: Establish and enforce classroom rules and procedures to maintain a productive learning environment.
• Communication and Collaboration: Communicate regularly with students, parents, and guardians regarding academic progress and behavioral issues, and collaborate with other teachers, staff, and administration to support student success.

Minimum Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree before your first day of work with Success Academy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for learning and commitment to student development.
• Ability to work in person in New York City.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
• A rigorous and relevant academic major (e.g., biology, history, chemistry, economics, physics, English, mathematics, engineering).
