We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Manager to join our team at EO Premier Events LLC. As an Event Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of our venue, ensuring that all events run smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintenance and Repairs: Work closely with management to coordinate maintenance and repairs of the venue grounds, property, equipment, and facilities.
- Event Logistics: Manage all bookings for events, liaise with clients to determine event requirements, and ensure that all necessary arrangements are made.
- Staff Supervision: Supervise all staff, including cleaning contractors, event staff, and maintenance personnel, to ensure that they are performing their duties to the highest standard.
- Marketing and Promotion: Promote the venue and its events through various marketing channels, including social media, to attract new clients and increase revenue.
- Administrative Tasks: Manage all administrative tasks, including vendor bills, booking schedules, and invoicing, to ensure that the venue's financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Security and Compliance: Communicate and enforce all security regulations and venue rules to ensure the safety and security of clients and staff.
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in events management, hospitality, or similar preferred.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience as a venue or event manager preferred.
- Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities, strong team working skills, and exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Leadership Abilities: Strong negotiation skills and leadership abilities to motivate and direct staff.
- Adaptability: Willingness to work long hours, including weekends and holidays, and adapt to changing circumstances.
