Job Summary

We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bakery Clerk to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining proper inventory levels, ensuring the cleanliness and appearance of the bakery department, and providing friendly, courteous service to internal and external customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage inventory levels and maintain a clean and organized bakery department
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Operate bakery equipment, including ovens, mixers, and proof boxes
  • Prepare and package bakery products, including bread, pastries, and cakes
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to company safety and sanitation procedures
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a bakery or food service environment preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
