We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN to join our team at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of Nuclear Medicine studies, ordering, preparing, calibrating, storing, and administering radiopharmaceuticals.
Key Responsibilities- Perform Nuclear Medicine studies, including imaging and diagnostic procedures.
- Order, prepare, calibrate, store, and administer radiopharmaceuticals, ensuring accurate dosing and patient safety.
- Operate various radiation detection devices, maintaining accurate records and reports.
- Perform quality assurance, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and hospital policies.
- Assist in the cleaning and maintenance of the Nuclear Medicine department, promoting a safe and efficient work environment.
- Rend patient care in a professional and courteous manner, identifying patients using proper protocols.
- Enter proper patient charges upon completion of Nuclear exams.
- Perform quarterly inventories of radioactive sealed sources.
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nuclear Medicine Technology.
- Current licensure in Nuclear Medicine by ARRT or CNMT (ARRT-N or CNMT).
- BLS for Healthcare Providers through AHA or CPR through American Red Cross.
- Minimum of one year as a nuclear medicine technologist (preferred).
