We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Methodist Hospital Hill Country. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our Radiology Department.
Key Responsibilities- Position patients for nuclear medicine procedures, ensuring accurate and safe imaging.
- Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment, including cameras and computers.
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals and other medications as prescribed by physicians.
- Collect and analyze data from nuclear medicine procedures, providing accurate and timely results to physicians.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care and departmental efficiency.
- Graduate of a Nuclear Medicine training program.
- Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification from the Texas Department of Health.
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) or Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification.
- One year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist, with a preference for two years of experience in a hospital setting.
