Key Responsibilities and Qualifications

1. Conduct a variety of Nuclear Medicine examinations.

2. Manage the ordering, preparation, calibration, storage, and administration of radiopharmaceuticals.

3. Operate diverse radiation detection instruments.

4. Perform quality assurance tasks.

5. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization within the Nuclear Medicine department.

6. Provide patient care with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring proper identification protocols are followed.

7. Accurately enter patient charges following the completion of Nuclear exams.

8. Conduct quarterly assessments of radioactive sealed sources.

Required Qualifications:
  • PREFERRED: At least one year of experience as a nuclear medicine technologist.
  • REQUIRED: Graduate from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
  • Ongoing education as mandated for licensure.
  • REQUIRED: Current Nuclear Medicine licensure from ARRT or CNMT (ARRT-N or CNMNT).
  • BLS certification for Healthcare Providers through AHA or CPR certification from the American Red Cross.
