Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Minor League Athletic Trainer to join our team at the San Diego Padres. As a key member of our athletic training staff, you will be responsible for providing top-notch medical care to our players, ensuring their health and well-being throughout the season.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide daily treatments for prevention and rehabilitation of injuries
  • Document provided treatments within the MLB EMR system
  • Arrange doctor's appointments and perform administrative duties for team and individual player travel
  • Manage the supply budget and regularly submit supply orders
  • Set up hydration stations in the dugouts
  • Other job duties as necessary
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years of age by the start of employment
  • 4-year Bachelor's Degree, or education equivalent from an accredited college or university
  • Current NATA-BOC Certification, in good standing
  • CPR/AED certification is required
  • Ability to start work in Peoria, AZ prior to transitioning to the Dominican Republic
  • Able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, holidays and extended hours as needed
  • Able to travel as needed
Preferred Qualifications
  • Fluently bilingual in English/Spanish is preferred
  • Previous baseball experience and working in an Athletic Training program or high-level private group training setting, is preferred
