Sanitation Manager

Minerva Dairy Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Sanitation Manager to lead the implementation of our Sanitation Program throughout the manufacturing plant. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership and technical expertise to ensure the highest standards of food safety and quality.

• Lead the development and implementation of the Sanitation Program, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Provide technical guidance and support to production staff on cleaning processes, including CIP, COP, and manual scrubbing.
• Oversee and manage daily sanitation operations, including assigning duties to sanitation and production staff.
• Perform pre-op and post-op inspections, and conduct cleaning verification and validation programs to ensure the effectiveness of the Sanitation Program.
• Manage and evaluate the performance of sanitation staff, providing training and development opportunities as needed.
• Coordinate corrective action/preventive action initiatives and manage the department's chemical budget.
• Act as liaison between personnel and outside contractors, and manage the Pest Control Program.

• Experience working in a food manufacturing environment, with a strong background in sanitation and quality assurance.
• Certified Sanitarian or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of HACCP, microbiology, sanitation, chemical safety, pest control, and quality systems.
• Ability to articulate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and to motivate staff about the importance of quality and sanitation.
• Proficient in operating a computer and associated applications (MS Office).
