Sanitation Technician

The Sanitation Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and quality of our products.

This position reports to the Sanitation Manager and collaborates closely with the PM Shift Supervisor to execute all sanitation protocols and maintain compliance during the PM shift.

The selected candidate will be expected to uphold and enhance the safety and quality standards of the facility by implementing a structured sanitation plan.

Strong communication and active listening skills are essential for coordinating strategies with the management team.

This position operates on the 3rd shift from 10 PM to 6:30 AM.

Compensation:
$19.00/Hr.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental test collection
• Perform post-operational inspections
• Execute pre-operational inspections
• Oversee automated washing procedures
• Conduct chemical testing
• Facilitate tear-down and inspection processes
• Monitor plant ambient temperatures
• Inspect packaging (bag position, sell by dates, seals, etc.)
• Supervise metal detector operations (bulk line and pack line)
• Adhere to the Master Sanitation Plan
• Conduct pH monitoring
• Report non-conformities
• Verify proper skid labeling
• Monitor tare weight at scales
• Ensure compliance with sell by dates
• Maintain cleanliness in processing areas
• Oversee process and sampling production
• Review and file the Nightly Sanitation report
• Ensure Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) are followed throughout the plant

Required Experience and Education

• Experience in a food manufacturing environment
• Proven track record of delivering results
• Commitment to food safety practices
• As a member of the Minerva Dairy Team, you will be expected to uphold food safety protocols, including handwashing, wearing clean uniforms, eating in designated areas, and maintaining good health and hygiene.
