The Sanitation Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and quality of our products.

This position reports to the Sanitation Manager and collaborates closely with the PM Shift Supervisor to execute all sanitation protocols and ensure compliance during the PM shift.

The selected candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the safety and quality of the facility by implementing a predetermined sanitation plan.

Strong communication and active listening skills are essential for coordinating strategies with the management team.

This position operates on the 3rd shift from 10 PM to 6:30 AM.

Starting Wage:
$19.00/Hr.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct environmental test collection

• Perform post-operational inspections

• Execute pre-operational inspections

• Oversee automated washing procedures

• Conduct chemical testing

• Perform tear-down and inspection

• Monitor plant ambient temperatures

• Inspect packaging (bag position, sell by, seal, etc.)

• Monitor metal detectors (bulk line and pack line)

• Adhere to the Master Sanitation Plan

• Conduct pH monitoring

• Report non-conformities

• Verify proper skid labeling

• Monitor tare weight at scales

• Ensure sell by dates are monitored

• Maintain cleanliness in processing areas

• Oversee process and sampling production

• Review nightly sanitation reports and file appropriately

• Ensure GMPs are properly followed throughout the facility

Required Experience and Education

• Experience in a food manufacturing environment

• Proven track record of delivering results

• Food safety is a shared responsibility.

• As a member of the Minerva Dairy Team, you will be expected to uphold food safety protocols, including handwashing, wearing clean uniforms, eating in designated areas, and arriving at work in good health and hygiene.
