At MDPerm, we are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Healthcare Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work in a unique detention environment requiring a broad clinical background, including family practice, emergency care, behavioral health, and infectious disease management.

The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive history and physical evaluations
  • Behavioral health care and minor outpatient surgical procedures
  • Treatment plans, prescriptions, and referrals
  • Court-ordered treatment plans for psychiatric illness or life-threatening conditions
  • Full spectrum of age and gender-specific health care
  • Consultation with staff physician, clinical director, and/or IHSC consultants
  • Infirmary care, infection control, and patient health education

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program
  • One-year full-time equivalent of experience in primary care
  • Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
  • Board Certification
  • Basic Life Support certification
