Clinical Healthcare Specialist

At MDPerm, we are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Healthcare Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work in a unique detention environment requiring a broad clinical background, including family practice, emergency care, behavioral health, and infectious disease management.
The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Comprehensive history and physical evaluations
- Behavioral health care and minor outpatient surgical procedures
- Treatment plans, prescriptions, and referrals
- Court-ordered treatment plans for psychiatric illness or life-threatening conditions
- Full spectrum of age and gender-specific health care
- Consultation with staff physician, clinical director, and/or IHSC consultants
- Infirmary care, infection control, and patient health education
Requirements:
- Graduate from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- One-year full-time equivalent of experience in primary care
- Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license
- Board Certification
- Basic Life Support certification
