Maintenance Mechanic Job Description

Columbia Sportswear Company is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine and preventive maintenance on all warehouse and office equipment to ensure proper operating conditions. This includes conveyors, racking, lighting, security, forklifts, material handling equipment, fire protection, and plumbing systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all warehouse and office equipment.
  • Maintain logs of all preventive and breakdown maintenance performed on conveyors, forklifts, and fire protection systems.
  • Complete tasks assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor/Manager.
  • Perform light janitorial duties and other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2+ years of experience in maintenance and repair.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
