Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant to join our team at Select Specialty Hospital - Erie. As a Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and promoting healing and recovery in a compassionate environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform bathing, oral hygiene, and hair care services for patients
  • Answer patient calls and provide timely assistance to meet their physical needs
  • Participate in hourly rounds to ensure patient well-being
  • Transport patients to and from treatment centers and assist with moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
  • Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment, as well as patient rooms
  • Manage unit stock levels of supplies and equipment
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or relevant work experience (3+ years)
  • BLS certification within 90 days of hire
  • Experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant, or experience in a related field such as a medical assistant or actively enrolled nursing student
