We are seeking a qualified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Discovery Behavioral Health. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide direct clinical services for a variety of psychiatric conditions in an outpatient setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Collect psychiatric history, relevant medical history, social and family history, mental status exam, diagnosis, and devise a treatment recommendation.
- Code services consistent with ethical and legal billing standards while supporting billing adequate to support the position financially.
- Collaborate with internal and external clinicians, administrative staff, and management staff to provide the best care to all clients/patients.
- Engage patients in therapy and use electronic medical records.
- Master's degree in Nursing, Health Care, or other related field.
- Ability to use electronic medical records.
- Ability to engage patients in therapy or a willingness to learn.
- Competitive hourly rate.
- Full-time and on-site hours.
- Continuing education (CE) programs and training.
- Weekly training opportunities.
