Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Residential Counselor to join our team. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing person-centered care, ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents, and maintaining a structured and supportive living environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver High-Quality Care: Prioritize best practices in person-centered care, ensuring the unique needs and preferences of each resident are met.
- Ensure Resident Safety: Develop and implement strategies to maintain a safe and secure living environment, minimizing risks and promoting a sense of community.
- Build Strong Relationships: Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and team members, promoting a culture of empathy and understanding.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with colleagues to develop and implement care plans, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements:
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent required; degree in human services or related field preferred.
- Experience: Relevant work experience in care settings, with a focus on person-centered care and community-based services.
- Certifications: Certifications in relevant fields, such as first aid or crisis intervention, are desirable.
