We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Counselor to join our team at St. John's Community Services. As a Clinical Counselor, you will provide high-quality treatment services to individuals accessing treatment for substance use disorder at our Outpatient Clinical setting.

Responsibilities
  • Perform assessments to plan for patient care
  • Provide treatment to adults and adolescents according to accepted standards
  • Incorporate knowledge and theoretical concepts into all facets of interactions with patients
  • Demonstrate competence in the provision of service
  • Formulate diagnostic impressions
  • Determine the appropriate level of care
  • Provide appropriate referral for follow-up
  • Document clearly, concisely, and according to policy
Requirements
  • Associates Degree + 3 years Addiction Counseling Experience OR Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a related field
  • Must meet OASAS' provisional QHP or CASAC designation upon hire
