Job Summary

This position will be responsible for curation and validation of data and information collected and presented as part of the data coordinating center for two NIH funded consortia.

Responsibilities
  • Curate data and content for the Diabetic Complications Consortium - This includes checking the data/content for accuracy, completeness and consistency.
  • Curate data and content for the Mouse Metabolic Phenotyping Center. This includes checking the data/content for accuracy, completeness and consistency.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by P.l.
Requirements
  • Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or related field.
  • OR Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of three years of equivalent experience in a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bioinformatics training and experience in development of algorithms and analytic approaches for genomic and proteomic data analysis and integration.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Shift/Salary/Benefits

Shift: Days; Monday - Friday (Work outside of normal business hours may be required).

Pay Band: B11

Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position.

Recruitment Period: Until Filled.

  • For Faculty Hires: Final candidates will be required to provide proof of completed academic degree(s) as well as post-secondary coursework in the form of original transcript(s).
