Research Programmer Analyst 2 Position

This position will be responsible for curation and validation of data and information collected and presented as part of the data coordinating center for two NIH funded consortia.
Responsibilities- Curate data and content for the Diabetic Complications Consortium - This includes checking the data/content for accuracy, completeness and consistency.
- Curate data and content for the Mouse Metabolic Phenotyping Center. This includes checking the data/content for accuracy, completeness and consistency.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by P.l.
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or related field.
- OR Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of three years of equivalent experience in a related field.
- Bioinformatics training and experience in development of algorithms and analytic approaches for genomic and proteomic data analysis and integration.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer software/databases.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Shift: Days; Monday - Friday (Work outside of normal business hours may be required).
Pay Band: B11
Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position.
Recruitment Period: Until Filled.

- Motor vehicle reports are required for positions that are required to drive an Augusta University vehicle.
- For Faculty Hires: Final candidates will be required to provide proof of completed academic degree(s) as well as post-secondary coursework in the form of original transcript(s).
