Job Summary

CCAR is seeking a highly motivated and organized Recovery Community Center Manager to oversee the daily operations of the New Haven Recovery Community Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for working with individuals in recovery and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of the recovery community center, ensuring a recovery-focused tone and culture.
  • Provide individual support and system navigation for recoverees and their families, as well as provide resources and referrals.
  • Oversee the provision of peer recovery support services, including development, coordination, implementation, and management at the local level.
  • Ensure the efficient operation of the Telephone Recovery Support program.
  • Build and maintain a strong support service network through personal meetings, presentations, and other promotional activities.
  • Recruit and supervise volunteers, promoting recovery support services in the local community.
  • Maintain accurate records and data, and write reports as required.

Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of experience in service/program delivery with a nonprofit organization.
  • Minimum of two years in a supervisory/management capacity.
  • Experience in outreach, networking, promotion, and training.
  • Strong customer service ethic and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Computer skills and current technology experience.
  • Cross-cultural skills and experience working with diverse populations.
  • Demonstrated excellence in written and oral communication skills.
