Residential Cleaner

As a vital member of our community at Regency at Northpointe, the Housekeeper plays a crucial role in ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for our residents. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of residents' rooms and shared spaces, adhering to established cleaning protocols and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Uphold the dignity, privacy, and individuality of residents while providing a home-like atmosphere.
- Transport linens, toiletries, and cleaning supplies efficiently using wheeled carts, ensuring all storage areas remain organized.
- Sanitize equipment and surfaces with appropriate cleaning agents or steam sterilizers to maintain health standards.
- Perform cleaning duties in various areas including rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, and more, ensuring compliance with health regulations.
- Dust and polish furniture and equipment to enhance the appearance of the community.
- Engage and communicate effectively with residents, families, volunteers, and fellow staff members.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English.
- Demonstrated compassion and a genuine interest in working with the senior population.
