Key Responsibilities:
The primary focus of the Facility Maintenance Attendant is to uphold a clean and hygienic environment for both residents and staff. The responsibilities include:
- Utilizing protective equipment as instructed
- Maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the property
- Employing cleaning products and techniques in accordance with company standards
- Performing tasks such as sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing all surfaces
- Relocating movable furniture to ensure thorough cleaning
- Assisting with laundry duties as required
- Ensuring the safe and proper use of cleaning solutions while adhering to safety protocols
- Engaging appropriately with residents, families, and other staff members
- Complying with infection control and universal precaution policies
- Following established reporting, isolation, and handwashing procedures
