Job Overview:

The Custodian plays a vital role in ensuring that all facilities are kept in a clean, safe, and sanitary condition. This position involves performing various cleaning tasks, minor repairs, and other related duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain cleanliness in offices, meeting rooms, and recreational areas.
  • Mop and maintain tile and concrete flooring.
  • Vacuum all carpeted spaces.
  • Dust and wipe down furniture and fixtures as necessary.
  • Sanitize all restroom facilities, including floors, toilets, and fixtures.
  • Clean mirrors and replenish restroom supplies as needed.
  • Empty waste receptacles and dispose of garbage appropriately.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of entrances and exits, including glass doors and hardware.
  • Keep outdoor areas near entrances clear of debris.
  • Disinfect drinking fountains and maintain cleanliness in break rooms.
  • Report any damages or vandalism observed.
  • Utilize floor polishers to maintain floor appearance.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
