Job Overview

As a Maintenance Equipment Specialist at Micro Tech Staffing - Franklin, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production equipment. We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team and take on the responsibility of maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing complex electro-mechanical automated/production equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Repair and maintain production equipment, systems, and facility structures to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks according to established schedules to minimize downtime and reduce the risk of equipment failure.
  • Assist contractors with repairs and maintenance tasks as needed, collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Document all repairs, maintenance, and upgrades in accordance with company standards and procedures.
  • Collaborate with engineers to develop, improve, and implement new or existing equipment and systems, focusing on best practices and lean manufacturing principles.
  • Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment at all times.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience servicing electro-mechanical automated/production equipment.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Leadership experience in operator and safety training.
  • Significant experience using standard hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
  • Effective written, oral, and electronic communication skills.
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ERP/CMMS software.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented LEAN environment.
