Industrial Equipment Repair Specialist

As a key member of our Franklin team, we are seeking an experienced Plant Maintenance Mechanic to join us on either our split shift schedule. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electro-mechanical automated production equipment and be proficient in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.

Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance programs on production equipment and facility structures.
- Collaborate with engineers to develop and implement new or existing equipment and systems, focusing on Best Practices.
- Document all repairs and maintenance activities.
- Assist contractors with repair tasks as needed and ensure compliance with safety guidelines.
- Manage spare parts and maintenance tool inventories and participate in lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Work effectively in a team-oriented LEAN environment and suggest improvements to the Facility and Production Engineering Manager.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience servicing electro-mechanical automated production equipment.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Leadership experience in Operator and Safety training.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Effective written, oral, and electronic communication skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ERP/CMMS software.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
