Sedgwick is a leading provider of claims management services, and we're seeking a highly skilled Claims Manager Workers Compensation to join our team. As a Claims Manager Workers Compensation, you will be responsible for managing the technical and operational functions within a dedicated client, ensuring consistent delivery of quality services, and overseeing budget preparation and profit and loss management within the dedicated client program.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee overall operational management for assigned dedicated client.
- Establish policy and procedure to ensure compliance to best practices, claims management services standards, state regulations, and client service requirements.
- Develop and implement business plans with goals and objectives for the partnership of the dedicated client.
- Work with Program Management to make recommendations for cost savings strategies for client and partners, and communicate frequently with key client personnel.
- Identify and resolve issues with company representatives, and monitor management reports relating to the dedicated client's performance.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
- Licenses as required.
- Eight (8) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required, including four (4) years claims management experience and two (2) years supervisory experience.
- Thorough knowledge of claims management procedures, excellent oral and written communication skills, and leadership/management/motivational skills.
