We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to join our PLM Platform Team at GE Aerospace, to help enable new capability in Teamcenter that will transform how we design and build our next generation aircraft engines.

In this role, you will be responsible for product managing PLM platform work to enable Model Based Enterprise and Digital Thread maturities, for our military business; while also driving consistencies with our Commercial business.

You will partner with our MBE and our military Teams to define vision and strategic direction, develop delivery roadmaps, and manage teams to deliver scope in-line with business needs.

You will work to ensure strategic alignment at all levels across our company, across Engineering, Manufacturing and Services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate superior product and industry knowledge and help the organization gain a competitive edge.
  • Interact with customers/stakeholders in VOC requirements-gathering, fine tuning, and obtaining product feedback.
  • Execute on simultaneous projects and initiatives through strong collaboration with business teams to understand requirements and priorities.
  • Drive seamless integration and alignment of perspectives from a broad set of stakeholders: Product Managers, Technical Anchors, and Product Owners.
  • Conduct customer and stakeholder interviews and elaborate on personas.
  • Possess a deep understanding of the technology stack and impact on final product.
  • Translate unstructured or ambiguous work requests into actionable user stories and work units.
  • Own and manage the backlog; continuously order and prioritize to ensure that 1-2 sprints/iterations of backlog are always ready.
  • Prioritize continuously in accordance with the understanding and validation of customer problems and needs.
  • Demonstrate strategic expert level skills in problem decomposition and ability to navigate through ambiguity.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver features and major, complex products.
  • Engage frequently with the development team; facilitate discussions, provide clarification, story acceptance and refinement, testing and validation; contribute to design activities and decisions.
  • Partner with Development Leadership to ensure healthy development process.
  • Mentor junior team members.
  • Provide technical leadership to TPMs across organization.
  • Coach others in Agile Methodology.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 5 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 8 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 10 years of professional experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Distinct Area of Work (DAW) or IT.
  • Military experience is equivalent to professional experience.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job.

Technical Expertise:

  • Strong knowledge of software design and coding principles.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Demonstrate knowledge on technical topics, such as caching, APIs, data transfer, scalability, and security.

This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
