Job Title: Cybersecurity Manager

CALIBRE Systems Inc., an employee-owned Management Consulting and Digital Transformation Company, is seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Manager to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Cybersecurity Manager will be responsible for ensuring the cybersecurity of a program, organization, system, or enclave. This includes acquiring and managing necessary resources, advising senior management on risk levels and security posture, and communicating the value of information technology (IT) security throughout all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Acquire and manage necessary resources, including leadership support, financial resources, and key security personnel, to support IT security goals and objectives.
  • Advise senior management on risk levels and security posture, and provide guidance on cost/benefit analysis of information security programs, policies, processes, systems, and elements.
  • Communicate the value of IT security throughout all levels of the organization, and collaborate with stakeholders to establish the enterprise continuity of operations program, strategy, and mission assurance.
  • Ensure that security improvement actions are evaluated, validated, and implemented as required, and that cybersecurity inspections, tests, and reviews are coordinated for the network environment.
  • Establish overall enterprise information security architecture (EISA) with the organization's overall security strategy, and evaluate and approve development efforts to ensure that baseline security safeguards are appropriately installed.
Requirements:
  • US citizen
  • IASAE, IAT, IAM Level 3 certification
  • Associate's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering degree; or a degree in a Mathematics or Engineering field
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to use and understand complex mathematical concepts (e.g., discrete math)
  • Ability to apply cybersecurity and privacy principles to organizational requirements (relevant to confidentiality, integrity, availability, authentication, non-repudiation)
Work Environment:

The Cybersecurity Manager will work in a fast-paced environment with a dynamic team, and will be required to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS) and Outside CONUS (OCONUS).
