About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Member of Technical Staff to join our Fusion Applications Technical Architecture team. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in defining the next-generation architecture for our cloud-native applications.

Responsibilities
  • Own the software design and development for major components and features of our UI Infrastructure service.
  • Manage and build CI and CD tools/pipelines and collaborate with our developer tools organization.
  • Participate in planning, backlog grooming, and technical design reviews.
  • Write high-quality backend code, including validation tests using languages such as Java and Python.
  • Work with cloud-native technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and Service Mesh.
  • Ensure safe and compliant release management across different stages.
  • Operate the service through production, making operational and continuous improvements.
  • Analyze and debug issues, including bugs, customer issues, and performance issues.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to our engineering team.
  • Perform thorough code reviews following best engineering practices with performance, scalability, resiliency, and security as key tenets.
