Job Summary:

AutoZone is seeking a dedicated Pre-Construction Specialist to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering store openings, with a special focus on Hub Stores, preliminary site layouts, and remodel base plans, all in alignment with our Strategic Plan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Site Layouts & Building Orientation: Prepare preliminary site layouts, building orientations, and signage options to support Real Estate initiatives.
• Construction Documentation: Prepare and permit construction documents, ensuring all necessary approvals are obtained.
• Zoning & Permitting Support: Assist in the zoning, permitting, and due diligence processes by providing required documents and interfacing with officials to resolve any issues.
• Mentorship: Mentor drafters and other team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
• Project Delivery: Ensure the delivery of permitted projects to the construction team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent in a related field.
• Five to seven years of experience in Architectural Technology.
