Pre-Construction Specialist

AutoZone is seeking a dedicated Pre-Construction Specialist to play a crucial part in delivering store openings, with a focus on Hub Stores, preliminary site layouts, and remodel base plans. Key responsibilities include site layouts and building orientations, construction documentation, zoning and permitting support, mentorship, and project delivery. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field and five to seven years of experience in Architectural Technology. Key Responsibilities:
Site Layouts & Building Orientation: Prepare preliminary site layouts, building orientations, and signage options to support Real Estate initiatives.
Construction Documentation: Prepare and permit construction documents, ensuring all necessary approvals are obtained.
Zoning & Permitting Support: Assist in the zoning, permitting, and due diligence processes by providing required documents and interfacing with officials to resolve any issues.
Mentorship: Mentor drafters and other team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment.
Project Delivery: Ensure the delivery of permitted projects to the construction team.

What We're Looking For:
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent in a related field.
Experience: Five to seven years of experience in Architectural Technology.
Professionalism: A role model of integrity and professionalism, representing AutoZone with the highest standards.
Relationship Building: Ability to build and sustain effective relationships with Real Estate, Legal, Construction, Support, Set-Up, and Maintenance teams.
