We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Pyramid Global Hospitality. As a Security Officer, you will play a critical role in maintaining the safety and security of our guests, employees, and properties.
Key Responsibilities- Patrol and Surveillance: Conduct regular patrols of the premises, including lobbies, corridors, guest rooms, and other areas, to maintain order and prevent any suspicious activity.
- Incident Response: Respond to and investigate incidents, including complaints, thefts, vandalisms, accidents, and illnesses, and complete incident reports as necessary.
- Security Systems Monitoring: Monitor security cameras and fire panels to ensure the safety and security of the premises.
- Guest and Employee Support: Provide assistance to guests and employees in emergency situations, including accidents and illnesses.
- Collaboration with Law Enforcement: Assist law enforcement officers in emergency situations and provide support as needed.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of incidents, including daily logs and incident reports.
- Lost and Found: Follow lost and found procedures to ensure the safe return of lost items.
- Key Management: Manage the distribution of keys and sign-out sheets for employees and vendors.
- Alarm Response: Respond to alarm notifications and take appropriate action.
- Emergency Training: Participate in emergency training and evacuation procedures.
To be successful in this role, you must have a valid NYS Security Guard license and be able to communicate clearly with guests, customers, supervisors, and fellow employees. You must also be available to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, and weekends, and be able to use appropriate judgment in determining situations requiring immediate or emergency response and action.
CompensationThe compensation for this position is $18.00/Hr. - $19.00/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
