About the Role

We're seeking a highly motivated and organized Restaurant Shift Lead to join our team at Torchy's Tacos. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless operations during your shifts, providing exceptional guest service, and leading by example.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the management team in maintaining high standards of quality, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction.
  • Run efficient shifts, ensuring that all team members are working together to provide an exceptional guest experience.
  • Work closely with the team to identify and resolve any issues that may arise during service.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels, ensuring that we have the necessary supplies to meet guest demand.
  • Support the creation of prep lists and conduct line setups to ensure a smooth service.
  • Supervise cash handling responsibilities and maintain accurate records.
  • Monitor curbside and pick-up to ensure a quick and accurate guest experience.
  • Assist in the completion of HACCP checklists to ensure food safety and quality.
Requirements
  • Must have a strong understanding of restaurant operations and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work up to 5 days or 40 hours per week and be flexible with scheduling.
  • Bilingual proficiency is a plus, but not required.
  • Competency in basic computer functions, including point of sale systems.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry heavy objects up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to stand for several hours and walk for long periods of time.
  • Ability to bend, stretch, twist, or reach for objects on shelves at various height levels.
