Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of procedures applying ionizing radiation, including CT scans, under the direction of the manager and the in-charge technologist.

Responsibilities
  • Identify patients with two identifiers and communicate with nursing or physician concerning patient.
  • Inform nursing of patients that need IV sedation or biopsies.
  • Fill out CT questionnaire and female questionnaire on all patients between the ages of 11-50 yrs. old.
  • Position patients accurately for all CT procedures.
  • Perform warm up calibrations as needed.
  • Assure the relieving shift has received hand off communication about the patients prior to them leaving the work area.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree - Completion of accredited radiology program.
  • ARRT-RADIOLOGICAL TECHNOLOGIST - ARRT.
  • RSQA - RAD QUALITY STANDARD - RQSA.
  • CT TECHNOLOGIST CERTIFIED - C061.
  • Minimum one year of CT experience - preferred.
