Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at Prisma Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of technical procedures using radionuclides for diagnosis and therapy, requiring a high degree of independent judgment and initiative.
  • Provide proper care to patients during procedures, verifying identification and reviewing orders for accuracy.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and families, preparing them for procedures and administering medications as directed.
  • Operate auxiliary equipment, maintaining a clean and organized work environment, and disposing of waste according to hospital policy.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and satisfaction, adhering to HIPAA mandates and departmental protocols.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
  • 1-year experience in nuclear medicine, with clinical experience considered towards the 1-year requirement.
  • ARRT (N) or NMTCB registry, CPR certification, and SCRQSA license.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ARRT in Radiology, experience on Philips equipment, and Spect/CT experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills, basic computer skills, and knowledge of office equipment.
