Job Title: Senior Environmental Planner/Senior Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Environmental Planner/Senior Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of project delivery, including project management, budget management, and quality control and quality assurance of all work submitted to clients.

This role will involve working on complex and controversial projects, requiring a senior level of expertise and strategy development. The Senior Environmental Planner/Senior Project Manager will be responsible for developing project strategies, initiating and leading project kick-off meetings, and debriefing after project conclusion.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of Environmental Planning experience, with at least 2 years in a Project Management role, and technical expertise in CEQA/NEPA Document Preparation and strong writing/communication skills.

The salary range for this role is $130,000 - $170,000, depending on relevant experience and qualifications, as well as discretionary End of Year bonus and Ownership at the Associate Principal-Level.

Responsibilities:
  • Technical Work: Prepare CEQA/NEPA Document Sections
  • Project Management: Develop project strategies, initiate and lead project kick-off meetings, and debrief after project conclusion
  • Team Leadership/Development: Manage, support, and offer training/mentorship to individual staff members
  • Client Relations: Partner with clients to understand and achieve their goals
  • Marketing: Proactive in presenting and communicating the capabilities and strengths of the company
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Planning, Environmental Studies or related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of Environmental Planning experience, with at least 2 years in a Project Management role
  • Technical expertise in CEQA/NEPA Document Preparation and strong writing/communication skills
