Public Works Utility Maintenance Specialist

The City of Verona Department of Public Works is seeking a highly skilled Public Works Utility Maintenance Worker to join their team. As a key member of the department, this individual will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to the installation, repair, and maintenance of the city's potable water treatment, storage, and distribution system.
Key Responsibilities- Assist Lead Water Operators with daily operations and maintenance of the water treatment and distribution system
- Perform snow removal, general maintenance activities, and repairs and maintenance of roadways
- Operate and maintain sanitary utility systems
- Work under general supervision and report to the Public Works Utility Superintendent and designated management staff
Applicants should possess a strong understanding of water treatment and distribution systems, as well as experience in maintenance and repair activities. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and a degree in a related field is preferred.
