Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Laser Automation Technician to join our team at Latitude Corp. This role involves setting up, troubleshooting, and operating highly custom automated equipment, including lasers, robotic brake presses, and CNC punches.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and program equipment to maximize quality, output, and efficiency
  • Troubleshoot equipment and repair promptly to reduce downtime
  • Document setup procedures for future training and standardization
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs as needed
  • Train production staff, supervisors, and other automation technicians on equipment use and setup

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing with automation
  • Advanced knowledge and programming abilities in laser operations, robotic brake presses, robotic welders, and CNC punches
  • Basic math skills, including reading and using a tape measure, caliper, and micrometer
  • Ability to prioritize and complete tasks with limited support
