Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Laser Automation Technician to join our team at Latitude Corp. As a key member of our precision metal manufacturing team, you will be responsible for setting up, troubleshooting, and operating highly custom automated equipment. This includes Lasers Operations, Robotic Brake Presses, Robotic Welders, and CNC Punches. Your primary goal will be to maximize the quality, output, and efficiency of our manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and program equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Document setup procedures clearly to facilitate future training and standardization.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and repair promptly to reduce downtime.
  • Continuously learn new automation machines and processes, including training from suppliers.
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs as needed.
  • Help train production staff, supervisors, and other automation technicians on equipment use and setup.
  • Work safely and follow company safety procedures.
  • Ensure the highest quality standards are met.
  • Accurately maintain MES system as instructed.
  • Maintain a neat and clean work area.

Requirements
  • 2-5 years of experience in manufacturing work environments utilizing automation.
  • Advanced knowledge and programming abilities in at least one of the following machines: Laser Operations, Robotic Brake Presses, Robotic Welder, and CNC Punches.
  • Basic math skills, including reading and using a tape measure, caliper, and micrometer.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete tasks with limited support.
  • Basic computer and writing skills.
