Job Title: Line of Business Risk Lead

Job Summary:

The Line of Business Risk Lead will be responsible for establishing and overseeing the execution of risk management strategies and programs across various lines of business. This role will serve as an advocate for the risk management program, ensuring that risk management strategies and programs are established, maintained, and enhanced to support business objectives while meeting regulatory expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and oversee the execution of risk management strategies and programs across various lines of business.
  • Serve as an advocate for the risk management program, ensuring that risk management strategies and programs are established, maintained, and enhanced to support business objectives while meeting regulatory expectations.
  • Oversee the timely and proper execution of the risk management program within and/or across the lines of business, including consultation to execute program components.
  • Provide risk expertise while working with businesses and other risk partners, such as Compliance, Credit, Legal, and Audit.
  • Monitor changes in internal and external factors and identify emerging risks.
  • Lead and engage cross-functional teams and develop internal capabilities.
Requirements:
  • University/college degree or comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience.
  • 5+ years of industry-relevant experience, with specific certifications often required.
  • Preferred skills include regulatory, compliance, and/or audit experience, knowledge of URSIT, technology risk, and change management.
