A Day in the Life

The Banquet Server is responsible for providing excellent service and ensuring guest satisfaction for various events, including weddings, corporate events, member events, and golf outings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet and serve food and/or beverages to patrons.
  • Provide immediate attention to all guests upon seating.
  • Setup for the banquet event.
  • Check back to ensure guest satisfaction; replenish water as necessary.
  • Bus for plates and glassware throughout events.
  • Keep the tables, dining room, and bus station clean and tidy.
  • Advise supervisor of any complaints as soon as they occur.
  • Perform side work, clean-up, and closing duties as assigned.
  • Prepare room for upcoming banquet events.
Requirements
  • High school diploma required.
  • 1 year server experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated quality written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze and solve problems; efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision; work flexible hours as required, including nights and weekends.
  • Positive attitude, professional manner, and appearance in all situations.
