Job Summary

Under general supervision, responsible for coordinating all materials, services, and records necessary to support construction and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

• Order materials, equipment, and services requested by maintenance and construction crews.

• Communicate delivery times to maintenance and construction crews.

• Arrange the pick-up of materials or equipment when the use of the material or equipment is no longer required.

• Arrange the servicing of rental equipment used in the field.

• Determine appropriate substitute materials or equipment when requested materials or equipment are not available, and confer with construction and maintenance crews to get their approval.

• Determine alternate suppliers when a primary supplier is unable to meet delivery terms or when the primary supplier has not been performing to expectation.

• File order slips and field delivery tickets created in association with construction and maintenance materials, services, and equipment.

• Input data required to generate management reports. Other AD HOC reporting as requested.

Requirements

College level coursework from an accredited institution will be evaluated on an individual basis according to the skill/level to determine if applicable to the position by management.

Work Environment

Salt River Project (SRP) offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona.
