As an Infusion Pharmacy Technician, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive care to patients with cancer and other infusion medication needs. You will work collaboratively with our interprofessional infusion teams to perform hazardous and non-hazardous sterile compounding, ensuring the highest level of quality and safety.
About the Blood Cancer Healing Center
The Blood Cancer Healing Center is a state-of-the-art facility designed to provide unparalleled care and support to blood cancer patients and their families. Our center offers dedicated spaces for whole-person patient care, novel treatments, and basic/translational research, all under one roof.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform hazardous and non-hazardous sterile compounding
- Work collaboratively with interprofessional infusion teams
- Ensure the highest level of quality and safety in patient care
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest techniques and technologies
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Current pharmacy technician registration by the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy
- Current certified technician certificate (approved by Ohio BOP)
- Certified Compounded Sterile Preparation Technician (CSPT) Certification within one year of hire/transfer
- Registration and certification throughout employment with the UC Health Pharmacy Department
- Minimum 3 years equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years equivalent experience
- Ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
- Ability to work cooperatively with health-system and pharmacy staff
- Ability to handle frequent interruptions and adapt to changes in workload and work schedule
